What does a Standard Installation (Fixed-wireless connections) include?

- 1 x Internet transceiver dish fitted to the exterior of the property no higher than 8m above the ground and where a ladder can be safely used to install the mounting bracket/fit the dish.
- 1 x standard dish mounting bracket to a flat wall or existing TV antenna pole
- Up to 30m of cabling from the radio transceiver to an internal Wi-Fi Router
- Up to 1 x 300mm hole drilled through an exterior wall (brick, concrete (not reinforced) or wood construction).
- 1 x Wi-Fi router with 4-LAN ports
If the installation varies from the standard installation description above, and includes extra or more complex work, then the installation will be considered non-standard.

Installation changing to non-standard on the day of the install
If an installation has been scheduled on the premise that the installation was thought to be standard, but on the day of the install it changes to a non-standard install then the following may apply:
- If the installation time is estimated to take longer than our standard 2 hour allocation, and this can not be scheduled for that day, then we shall be forced to re-schedule for another day making allowance for the additional time required. This is because other installs have been scheduled and the unplanned non-standard install would likely interrupt the other installs. The customer will not be liable for any "failed installation" charges.
- The customer will be required to sign off and accept any new charges and materials required to complete the install before the install starts.
Example of non-standard installs that we tend not to get involved with
Some non-standard works such as the list below our engineers cannot typically help with. You may need to consult with other engineering or civil contractors to help with a portion of the install before our engineers complete the install in a non-standard or standard way:
- Remotely installed radio transceiver on a pole in a garden/field. Our engineers will not install this pole, nor will then install the ducting required for the cable from the pole to the property where the power and Wi-Fi hub are provided. If the customer is organising this with another company, they should ensure that the ducting has a pull cord, no bends tighter than 30cm radius, and is at least 10mm diameter wide. The maximum cable distance is 100m from the radio transceiver to the indoor Wi-Fi hub, so this also needs to be factored in.
